Great view, good location and clean comfy room. But… it can get very noisy during weekends Saturday and Sunday with loud parties going on till 3am nearby or rather the entire old town of Siena and cathedral bells rolling every 30mins the whole of Sunday. Hotel is within minutes of walking distance to the old town, Conad supermarket and bus stops. The room is not big rather small but comfortable, go for the room with city view and balcony it’s worth every penny. The breakfast is very good European standard. The shower temperature can get extremely cold and hot if you turn it to full power, turning it half way get a consistent water temperature. There’s a lovely big living room but only for reading. It’s a total waste because if you want a quiet room might as well stay in your own room. Staff are not friendly and not rude either, they just can’t be bothered if you don’t speak Italian. Overall a good enjoyable 2 nights stay.

Do not let the fact that this is a one-star hotel stop you from staying there. If you are not familiar with the Italian hotel rating system, Google it. This hotel is in an excellent location in the old city. The rooms are modern and comfortable. Spend a few extra euros for a room on the top floor and you will have an amazing view of the cathedral on the hillside across the ravine. You can thank me later…

We loved this hotel in Siena, we had the most amazing views of the city. The staff were very helpful and they had a very nice breakfast too. We also had one night of noise from the winners of the Palio but we got enjoyed being a part of the celebration.

It’s a good hotel but they had a celebration in the neighbourhood and no one informed us or help us to get through 2 very noise and loud nights. We manage to buy ear plugs but it was still tired. We learn that this is happening every week because they won a race. It should have let us know and help us or give us something complimentary since we didn’t sleep till 3am. Clean rooms, ok breakfast.

What an amazing spot with stunning views across to the city centre, bars and restaurants on your doorstep, and very helpful staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable although it would have been nice to have tea making facilities in the bedroom. We would happily come and stay here again.

Great hotel right by San Dominica and bars and restaurants. 5 min walk to piazza il campo. Well equipped room and fab breakfast.

Beautiful hotel in a renovated building from the 1300s. The rooms are well decorated, very clean and well-worth upgrading to a balcony for what I believe are the best views of the town and duomo. The service is wonderful as is the included breakfast.

The hotel was amazing, we stayed here with family , 2 kids, 2 adults. The hotel was super clean, everything was fresh. Looks like it has been newly renovated. But the most amazing were the views , the view is majestic . It looks to cathedral and to overall city. The breakfast was super nice, the breakfast lady was very pleasant , she fed us like her family. We felt that we were taken care of. Definitely recommend it.
